Ok, I assume that most of you don't know about this so I'm going to tell a bit about it now. 'Allo 'Allo! is a British sitcom the story of which takes place during World War II. With the show they make fun at the French, the Germans and even at the British - themselves. It's a hilarious sitcom full of good British-humour jokes! Too bad you can hardly find it on TV now...

The main character is Rene - a cafe owner in the little town Nuvion in occupied France. He's got a lot of things to worry about each day such as helping the French Resistance with their attempts to send off two British airmen back to their country and in the meanwhile Rene is responsible for hiding them from the Germans; being friendly with the Germans and doing as they tell him for his own advantage; hiding securely two expensive painting in his cellar so that they can be sold after the war; keeping his affairs with his waitresses secret from his wife... This is the main outline.

Now, my favourite character is Lieutenant Gruber - a German officer who has a little crush on Rene. ^^ There's a lot I like about him and I've written it all in my List of Favourite characters. I wanted to do something to express my obsession, I came up with the idea to make a series of illustratons of my favourite scenes between Rene and Gruber.

This number 1. yay (I must apologize for the crappy lineart, still struggeling with that). You can expect more as I've got quite a few planned!

A little explanation: Rene has to drop some food to the British airmen who are hiding in the shaft and this is the best way he thought of doing it without being noticed by passer-bys. Unfortunately for him a certain Lieutenant came up to him to talk and happened to notice the sausages... XD
